That's right James I'm expecting an email from him soon so that we can continue building the best Star Trek site to ever grace the internet. I was concerned that these back stabbing officers who trashed the base and Command staff would win but they won't. I understand many of them know that the Base is almost back and a few are swearing to not return even if asked. Traitors will not be asked back !! |

Well he should email me when he emails you. If he doesn't then I might chew him out a little. No offense to you or anything, but I feel he should be informing me directly and I should not have to find out these things from you. As one of Starbase's captains and older members, I feel he should be informing me of these things himself. Since this has happened, it seems like you have had more contact with him then I have. Something of which I find irratating.

James I totally agree with you. As one of OSB's Senior staff he should have been talking to you. The only contact I have had with Ryan was when the Base came back online last month and I sent him a PM right away. He replied yet I feel his heart was not in the PM. As for finding out the Base was in maintenance mode its only that I check the Base's URL several times a day and found out Monday morning that he had asked to have it restored on Sunday. I asked the staff on proboards for Ryan's proboard account name but they refused so that is all that I know. James you are Senior staff and Ryan knows you are loyal so I would say cut him some slack as I am sure he will explain himself to you and the rest of his staff once he's out of maintenance mode.

I have been trying to cut him some slack. But I am sick of this lack of communication. He could at least send me an email letting me at least a little bit of what is going on. It isn't like he doesn't have my email address. It has been the same way with each of the previous times starbase has gone down as way. I try to not let it get to me. But enough is enough. This time around I had to deal with accusations by members such as Kirk. He accused me of being Dean and being involved is this so called starbase conspiracy that he came up with. I have given up on even trying to talk to former officers who bought into his bullsh*t. There is little point on even trying to talk to them anymore. Furthermore if Dean expects me to return to onlinestarbase, then he better going to give me a full explanation on what has went on. That includes information he has on the person who hacked the starbase. Also I doubt I will be a member of the command department as it is if I return. I have too much sh*t going on to deal with it. Especially considering I just accepted a mod position on a Power Rangers forum that is opening up and will likely be bumped up to Junior Admin on it. I am also moving this weekend and will be without the net for a few days. There is more to do in the area where I am moving so I might not be online quite as often as i normally would be. I am also going to be making a new rp. So right now, I just can't see myself in the command department on starbase. I know it might dissapoint Dean but oh well. The only reason i will would even return to starbase anyways is out of loyalty to Dean. I have known him for years. I would like to consider him my friend. If this stuff was going on, on any other site, I would just walk away and quit completely. After all I get sick of this kind of drama.

I have been surfing the web and it would appear from StarTrek.com that Online Starbase was hacked into back in March. Nothing is known of this hacker or the damage they did but the base may never come back online. I myself never joined it but I enjoyed surfing it from time to time and I will miss it.

The difference between Dean and me is Dean can still read this as banning is the work of a coward. So Dean enjoy to your hearts content as at the end of the day I am the better person.
