selftched a show years ago, the show was called Quinsy, it think. Well in the show there was a dead Jewish guy that had killed him self and in the show Quinsy asked about suicide and what the rabbi thought. The rabbi asked if Quinsy if it was considered normal to kill your self. And of course Quinsy said that as a rule no normal person would kill them selfโs no matter how bad things seemed. The Rabbi said if it was not considered normal by man to commit suicide then the person choosing to do it must be abnormal, and as such with out guilt of any kind. That is why we lock these people up, because we recognize they are not in a position to fully comprehend what they are doing, because they are in some way defective. To this day the simple logic of this has always stayed with me, I know that we could go real deep into this but for my self I found the answer more than adequate and acceptable for me. I think people that commit suicide are with out guilt of any kind and that it is wrong for any church to add to the suffering of the people left behind by assigning blame or guilt and encouraging a negative stigma for all concerned.
Just an after thought it the State could get the Church to change it's stance on suicide, we could raise an army of suicide bombers that could fight the Talaban and the Tigers and all the rest of those groups. Suicide could be seen as a glorious thing if you do it fighting the terrorists, and the State would guarantee they would look after your family for life and the Church could praise them. Then we would have a fighting chance in this case the Church is our worst enemy in some ways.
