Run for mayor and the police raided me immediately

In October I made it plain and public that I am going to run for Mayor of Winnipeg in the next elections just under 2 years from now. That I will be elected as Winnipeg's next mayor and non-Jewish mayor. The next thing was I was illegally raided by a tactical unit of the Winnipeg Police Service where they were violating a court order protecting me, taken away after breaking my door down and removing me in front of my family at gunpoint where I was then illegally incarcerated in the Winnipeg Remand Centre for 3 days where they then realized the wrong they had done, the trouble they would be in with me and they really hurried to get me out of there where after they went on a fascist binge to try to bait me while in solitary confinement which also backfired in their faces then they got me out of there. The media does not want to touch the story with a ten foot pole, it stinks so bad. Complaints have been filed with LERA, the Judicial Councils, The Minister of Justice and all have fallen silent like the mice they usually portray.

When I get elected there is one thing I do pledge even now that I will treat all Winnipeg residents, Canadian citizens with great, great equality, no special deals for anyone or any group no matter what their origin, funding or politics. I pledge that I will be a great equalizer because I am absolutely straight and will not be corrupted by anybody. Some idiots in Winnipeg have already found out that when I pledge I do it and I do hold myself out as a person for the people, responsible to the people for citizens first and foremost with great equality in mind and in practice always.

Some might think that this is an election speech? It is and I will be Mayor and a good one and not the part time special interests fool we have now screwing city citizens.

It took Steve Fletcher an election to an MP to Parliament to point out just how badly this country treats its people, in his case the disabled and here is more of the same being done to more Canadians.

I can now see some people running for their cell phones telling them that indeed I am coming and I won't be thwarted.

I will most definitely continue write to this board before and after I win, loose or tie from where ever the politics of helping Canadians goes.

What is happening here in Winnipeg with its dirty politics is not new. The previous mayor to Sam Katz, Glenn Murray being *** was immediately targetted by some members of city council up for re-election along and in an alliance with the Chief of Police who in their unholy alliance went after Glenn Murray.

The Chief of Police being a contracted management exclusion did not take a leave of abscence from his position to engage in politics but did so from his prefessional excluded staff position in order to sway voting of publicly elected officials. He should have been fired on the spot but then all the councillors were up for election and re-election and the last thing they wanted to do was to tell the city manager to do her job and fire the meddling police turkey.

Now the present mayor, Sam Katz is out there saying that the job of the Chief of Police is the most important position of leadership in the City of Winnipeg??? What happed to the mayor and city councillors being the most important. That is a mayor who is advocating a police city/state to protect his small communities sphere of interests that are purely financial to the detriment of all else. His disdain for his mayoral position and that of all elected councillors he treats with pettiness is appalling as his idea that his job as mayor is a part time situation and second only to his ownership and operation of his baseball club that gives entertainment to the masses, empties the masses pockets, gets tax breaks for to make more profits and little else.

He is trying to run this city like some of his predecessors garment factories that financially raped with fraud and outright theft the entire now gone garment industry including wages, benefits and pensions that made multi-thousands of Winnipeggers a whole poorer making this city a whole lot poorer as a result. Everytime he feels the need when he feels cornered or threatened politically he throws out that he is the son of Holocaust survivors who then helped themselves in Winnipeg's garment industry to shut down criticism of his administration. Well, my parents are both non-Jewish survivors of the Nazi concentration camp and slave labour camp systems that almost led to their deaths in World War II so his behaviours, rationalizations and outbursts just don`t wash with me as I am going to treat everyone the same with great equality and that is going to make a difference to this city. People getting away with anything outside of good and transpaarent government are going to become a minority real fast. That will be their problem as I dislike those types no matter who they think they are along with their so-called entitlements from other citizens they think in some weird and wonderful way are due to them. This citie`s taxation revenue is so out of kilter with the white and blue collar tax frauds going on that skew everything to the degree that not only can a tax freeze be maintained but could also be rolled back. Everyone knows it but no one wants to audit, find it and admit it because that would show monumental fraud and theft going on in the elites of Winnipeg society and we just can`t have that can we - QUESTION!

For those that don`t know my background it is that of a senior civil service and organizational troubleshooter and change agent. Very little sneaks by me under the best of circumstances so you can well imagine to some I need to be attacked and pre-emptively so like this raid to try to put me out of business. ;D

That is just not going to happen. ;D

Some more odd ball background to all this political craziness found in Winnipeg.

*When I call into radio talk shows dealing with crime and society issues I am put on hold, forced to reveal my whole name where most callers only have to give their first names and then I am asked to tell them what I am going to say about a topic before they will transfer me to the open line radio show that then keeps me on the line until the show is over when they put an auto answer on telling the public left hanging that the show is over, appologizing for no time left to hear from the caller and they auto disconnecting. Stations like CJOB, CBWT and others do this. Of course they want to have regular shows for the Mayor, Sam Katz and Premier Gary Doer and for crime reporters like those from the Winnipeg Free Press or CKY TV but there is no way they will interview me or let me get on the airwaves or TV.

*When ever I attend public meetings featuring meetings with the police or city counsellors clearly I am treated as an intellectual assassin who knows his topics and does his homework before he gets there leaving them so nervous and ill at ease it causes a ripple effect in modertors, guests and the attendees.

*When I ran for city council a decade ago I have one council wannabe call me to make a deal he had no intention of keeping to keep me happy and from running. He had his public employees contacts make sure I had to jump hoops to go through the registration process to get information about the city's performance clearly no one wanted me to have.

*One pet peeve that makes Winnipeg's elite nervous is my outspoken criticism about public financing of the Canadian Human Rights Museum because its proponents and supporters are the very interests that conducted the now gone garment industy ownership financial raping of an entire industry that employed at its height some 25,000 immigrants in downtown hole in the wall sweatshops in Winnipeg's core. These huge multi-million dollar frauds and thefts of wages, benefits and pensions funding can be directly atributed to why Winnipeg is so poor, not only because it was cheap but because the captains of that industry were the worst kinds of theives and frauds, virtually none of whom were ever charged and none ever went to jail to make the scalping complete. Now that group and its interests gets federal, provincial and municipal tax dollars to cover up the situations with the idea that they to want to revise history and they have authors standing by to try. What a snowing.

Some of this is why the city's tax system is out of wack. Here is a city with 670,000 people whose property tax brings in 200 million dollars and business taxes that bring in 56 million dollars. When you take into account all the residents single, multiple, condos, appartment rentals, commercial and other real estate nothing in terms of property tax revenue makes any sense. There is strip mining going on in terms of inappropriate taxation and outright tax evasion. Even Mayor Katz had council forgive a $250,000 tax bill on property his ball team leased for parking through another agency indirectly from the city where right after the tax break was given the lease for the land was over that the Mayor and his ball team interests then just walked away from. Who improved the property from rough to parking grade so it could be leased to katz and his ball team interests? City taxpayer dollars!

Add to that the city got rid of its Ombudsman who was acting on open and transparent government and was making progress for citizens with their concerns about what the city was doing, the city's politicians off loadied the office to the Province of Manitoba where nothing ever goes the window dressing that it is on protecting anyone it seems.

In this city residents with law enforcement problems are told by police to take it to the law enforcement agency knowing that LERA is just another case of window dressing with people that doing little tangible to justify their being there. It's executive director is a former police officer who got the nod politically to be there and do what? It takes years to get any answer to any complaints filed there if any happen at all during an aggrieved's lifetime.

This is just the tip of the major iceberg without breaking down and analysing management and operations of civic departments where more politics and political agendas of a different type reighn supreme.

All about Police Commissions. As many are aware Winnipeg does not have a police department but a police service. It does not have a real police commission but has a newly minted advisory board. Law enforcement is not a Criminal Code of Canada issue it is a Law Enforcement Review Agency issue, so just what does all that mean? It means that there is no discipline, no civilian oversight, no city council oversight, no city management oversight, no ethics, massive conflicts of interests, no real professional standards, no real law enforcement only a situation what is pure "reactivity" yet 80% of all police officers are down to earth hard working at their job professionals where another 10% of the 100% are absolutely straight and then there is the last 10% that are absolutley crooked. Is this unique? No it is in all police but varies from location to location that also varies with the leadership. In Winnipeg there is no leadership from city hall and in fact the mayor and his like minded people and staff at city hall view that the police and its leadership are the most important people and services in the City of Winnipeg in defacto our term leaving mayor Sam Katz telling everyone else they have handed all responsibility over to the police in effect telling taxpaying citizens that you are in and part of a police state as opposed to a city with an elected Mayor and Council! I think that if people wanted to move to a facist state they would have moved to one but here we have massive abrogation of elected responsibility on a massive scale in just this small city itself! The results are plain to see like the Aboriginal Justice Inquiry and the Taman Inquiry just to mention two of the many that all happened here that changed nothing. Change is needed to bring responsibility all the way around and that means changes to council with like minded people who believe enough is enough.

In reviewing just would make them so nervous about running for mayor stop for a moment and let the latest news about how this city retaliates against its citizens reflects on how this city operates.

The Crystal Taman inquiry into how an off duty Winnipeg Police officer after night of partying with other off duty Winnipeg Police officers at times in public view crashed into a woman stopped at a red light killing her and how the East St. Paul police staffed with some ex-Winnipeg police officers botched the investigation to in essence cover up for the police to trivialize the fatality ended up all being fired with the RCMP being ordered to disband the ESP police and provide police services free of the ESP's previous background and operation covering up for the Winnipeg Police Service. During that inquiry a woman who served up the booze involved here also changed her story under her bar owner's duress and then again at the hearing to be truthful and against the police was recently stopped for being over the legal alcohol limit and released after promising to appear on the DUI which means she was innocent until proven guilty. Winnipeg police vindictively leaked all the details to the press to blacken the immagine of this woman without having proven the changes in court that can take months to come up. This is the renegade police and their partisan activites in this city that give Winnipeg the horrfying image it has.

Getting back to how the nuts and bolts on how this city operates can only really be done by people that understand organizations at the very most elemental level upward which takes specialized education and training in civics and organizational operations and review. This information is what the city politicians and administration (many of them do not have the education, training or basically don't even have a clue about either) do not want you have and are counting on citizens never getting to educated on to keep them snowed about what is really going on.

Case in point is the office of the Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Winnipeg. This position has now been politicized and politically appointed to with persons suitable to the Mayor of Winnipeg's ilk and similar pursuasions to work with political decisions out of the mayor's office as opposed to non-partisan decisions that are interpeted out of the operation of city council as a whole. That political appointment makes the mayor's office all the more powerful and that of city council as a whole lessened.

What all this means to the ordinary taxpayer citizen is that instead of non-partisan administration of the city for all its citizen taxpayer/ratepayers is that a political slant has been added where from the top administration of the city comes to mean different things to different citizens and even groups of people with like minded interests down to elemental and even racial and paraocial levels not in the best interests of all Winnipeg citizens as a whole. Within that you will find unequal taxation. City departments giving preferentail treatment to some but not others. The police turning a blind eye or lack of criminal prosecution to some that would lead to criminal charges to others. It could mean lopsided civic resources allocations that cripple certain civic services that would otherwise produce equity in dealing with all citizens. Lack of resources in the right places mean a lack of transparency in government as well as massive theft and fraud going on in this city in so many ways and so many places at once knoweldge of this very fact requires coverup activities at very high levels and public relations to keep citizens asleep to all that is or is not going on.

Clearly the biggest indicators of all this municipal graft and corruption is rooted in some very salient facts: *For the numbers and types of properties Winnipeg has the $200 million dollars from property taxes and $56 million dollars from business taxes and having tax freezes going on for a decade indicates massive tax theft, fraud and evasion is operating within the city without a shred of white and blue collar prosecution dealing with the strip mining of tax resources going on in this city. Neither the province nor the city is moving against any of this because of known groups involved in these tax avoidance activities are also big polticial contrabution providers. Ultimately who gets the shaft in all this? The answer is approximately 85% of the population of Winnipeg who are providing a contrived tax free holiday to the other 15% of citizens and businesses within city limits who are actively involved in tax avoidance, tax fraud and outright theft from city coffers that would normally fund city operation and civic infrastructure long term prepaird for cyclical renewal. Does this tranlate into any other information? It does in one major way, 85% of Winnipeg taxpayers are continuously overpaying in their taxes that directly support being strip mined by a very shady 15% of taxpayers who are not only not paying their fair share but are also involved in tax avoidance, tax fraud and outright theft. These are the same groups and people who prefer a "police city/state" atmosphere, where the police are the most important elements of the city and not its Mayor or Councillors as a group. These same groups do not believe a city is supposed to run at cost for its citizens because property tax dollars are arrived at from after tax earnies and disposable incomes from individuals but as an exercise of privatization so those groups can make money from the city for themselves and their friends and associates at the expense of 85% of the rest of the citizens of the city. This same 15% group is extremely anti-union and has the cooperation of the Winnipeg Police Service as a key asset in perpetuating their way of moneymaking without hindrance and without checks and balances.

This is just part of the overall picture of Winnipeg under the current political administration of current Mayor, Sam Katz, a mayor who is not afraid and unabashed of using his Jewish background, upbringing involving the garment industry in Winnipeg and his Holocaust surviving parents status for himself when ever he runs into a storm of citicism to deflect it or quieting down his detractors. The very fact that I am not Jewish and my parents were non-Jewish survivors of WWII Nazi concentration and slave labour camps allows me to confront his defections without batting an eyelash makes things nervous but add a person educated, equipped and practiced to root out graft and corruption in governments that now wants to run for the mayoralty against him is triggering negative responses. The illegal raid by police, the illegal treatment by the Crown attourneys, the judiciary and treatment by corrections staff during the illegal temporary incarceration all in concert with another is telling all Winnipeggers just how corrupt it is and just how they are being taken to the financial cleaners by the overtaxation 85% of Winnipeggers are being subjected too.

It has been suggested by some already that I should have lots to personally fear taking this course of action of openly campaigning for election that will happen in the next two years. These people are the same ones campaigning now to keep me out that are in the lap of the present mayor and his political base in power in this city now. Winnipeg is not poor because it is cheap! Winnipeg is poor because 85% of its citizen taxpayer/ratepayers are being fleeced and stollen from.

Readers email me and ask just who are these people that are so powerful in Winnipeg who occupy only about 15% of Winnipeg's citizenry tax/rate payers?

First it must be understood that this power group is people as well as businesses that are recognized as an artificial person in law represented generally by its corporate owners and operators who are "real" walking and talking people. Out of a population of about 680,000 real people this group occuppies 15% of that number generally that also includes corporate business interests acting as an artificial person where appplicable mixed in 3 levels of government (municipal, provincial & federal). These group has individuals, groups, family compacts and self excluding from mainstream society racial groups and others that have massive ownership and capital holding involved in entire industries (garment, print news media, radio broadcasting, television broadcasting, professions (lawyers, accountants, doctors, judges, crown attourneys and others) and in power blocks like political parties, police services and police departments, real estate firms, property managers and rental property ownership and management). Some in Winnipeg including the various sectors of the media refer these as "the Elite" or "Elites" and are unabashed at promoting their elite interests. Once such glaring elite interest which is a massive coverup for fraud and theft on an all industry (now gone garment industry) basis are those behind the workings using the conned tax dollars to some degree as well to perpetuate itself and re-write some of Winnipeg's most sordid history is the Canadian Museum of Human Rights to name just one. The most horrible thing of all is that these groups believe that they have an entitlement to a homeowner tax/ratepayers citizens after income tax paid dollars/disposable income after the province and feds took most and that they are justified because they employed Winnipeggers irrespective that in the process of their employment they might have abused them, defrauded them, stolen from them and even preyed upon them in ways would jail most for long terms but not them because with their connections law and order authorities for some kind of compensation "look the other way"!

Some I am saying that I am taking a swing at Judeo - Christian and other related dogmas through such identifications? I would say to them that their dogmas do not teach or espouse what they are doing and how they are treating people making them hypocrits to their own dogmas. It is these same dogmas that once a week provide confession and even absolution so all this abuse can restart over again the following week!

Has Winnipeg been in this terrible state for a long time on a mayoralty and city council basis? From all accounts Winnipeg's last great mayor who made provisions in his administration that all citizens be treated with great equality though no one could ensure perfection was Mayor Steve Juba. There has been no one of such stature since. All this serves to tell me and others of like mind that we need the leadership not present for a long time.

Up and Coming! Some of the dirty, dastardly and even criminal things Winnipeg's elites have done to stop or disuade honest, honorable, forthright and ethical people from running and be elected to public office.

What about the so-called NDP Teflon man Gary Doer and why he now not only wants but needs former MP Bill Blaikie? What Bill Blaikie is afraid of most? And that has nothing to do with the level of his MPs generous pension scheme he is now on!

Some email from readers who do not post here but only read and respond differently smacks of caution and identification concerns.

One reader who emailed me suggested that this latest illegal attack by the Winnipeg Police, the Crown, Corrections staff while held in solitary was done with some medical knowledge that I had a heart condition irrespective of how it happened and that such actions on their part at some stage would or could trigger a heart attack ending life if not at least disabling me. The illegal excitment did trigger a severe seizure in my disabled spouse so they must be a little proud of themselves just a little bit.

One of the damn fool police officers was very quick to blame the victims in any case so it is somewhat appreciated that this illegal attack was coordinated with prepared and well consulted pointmen to try to get specific results that this time like last did not produce.

Nice place this Winnipeg seems doesn't it? Time is high that the RCMP gets installed in Winnipeg as the replacement police force of a higher national standard and as for the present Winnipeg Police Service put them all in the position of having to re-qualify for their jobs all over again using independent specialist evaluation professionals from outside of Manitoba that have no conflicts of interests from interfacing with any police forces anywhere else to help make the right decisions. There is no doubt from psychological studies and profiling of such organizations that fully 10% would not qualify to begin with. Another 10% would be borderline but at least 80% would make it and retain their profession. It still means there are a lot of bad ones which means in the hundreds are still here. Cases like the rear end collision death of Crystal Taman by an off duty partying police officer is not an exception to the rule but just scratching the surface of massive Winnipeg police graft and corruption.

Well I dunno...unless the RCMP are brought in on transparent evidence of malfeasance, resulting in mass dissmissal of the extisting Police...... there will be no improvement just by nominally changing forces.
Here in Ontario, we have a bizarre situation wherein various municipalities take tenders for their Police services.
Here in my township, the contract has been let to the Oxford Community Police Services (an expansion of the Woodstock police).
Come January the OPP will assume Policing duties, and to expand their "boots on the ground"...are hiring OCP members....but there is a snag-----different pension plans.
This assumption of policing duties and hiring the existing staff in principle does not in reality result in a different Police service just a change in the name painted on the door of the Police cars---also transferred.........

That is an interesting view. The problem today is one of the standards of policing according to the legislation served - The Criminal Code of Canada are all different ones all over the place and even worse the further you get away from the national model of the national police force, the RCMP. That is not to say the RCMP is without its problems and it has many but not like the other police forces like Winnipeg's. There is not even a responsible police commission model in this city but a annointed volunteer board stuffed with self interested volunteers bent to helping the self interests of the present police service and the Law Enforcement Review Agency of Manitoba is no better than the window dressing based on those appointed to lead it which are also from the same vested interests. Pensions systems do not really stop organizational changes, that is just what some people want others to think to put blocks under the wheels of real change to prevent change to proper Criminal Code based law and order.
