If i have the story correct,
I welcome this chance to brag, about the two cops in Canada that just saved the lives of (Ibelive it was) ten people in a burning house.

A friend of mine has another story to tell. His house suffered an electrical fire in his rear porch. He called the fire department who came but refused to put out the fire until the electric power provider disconnected the house from the meter, main box. With this wait happening the home owner took out his garden hose and proceeded to save his own house, put out the fire and was cleaning up when he was accosted by the chief fireman and a local police officer who charged the homeowner for obstructing the fire department from dealing with the fire. He was then charged, later taken before a judge who quietly dismissed the charge because even he could not understand why this man was before him for saving his own house while others better equipped to do the job stood there and watched!
