....well the last long weekend of summer is approaching ...Labour Day ... Does anyone have plans to travel , or just running around buying back to school supplies and moving kids to college or university. I'll be spending mine at home , working , and heading to the big turkey dinner at the campground to say good-bye to friends .. Many are snow birds and leave shortly ..

There are " permanents " , people that live there all year round . Many seasonal will stay until it's to chilly for them which could be into October . There are no weekend events planned after Labour Day as many have kids in school . We still have campers coming in until the water is shut off and winterized . We even had some winter trailers come in last year as overnighters and just parked them on the road-ways .. They were grateful they could get off the road ..
