MANITOBA ELECTION ON WITH HYPOCRITS VENTING

Well, the Manitoba provincial election is on and in the usual Canadian tradition they are all trying to get your vote by bribing you with your own tax dollar!

The NDP wants to get in for a 3rd term and the people in Manitoba are dumb enough to get suckered into doing it.

The current NDP government got in in 1998 and went further right wing than the PC themselves bending over to special interests to stay in the previous 2 terms and people were buying it.

When examining the issues the Manitoba NDP government over became very adept at becoming spin doctors. Their main pre-occupation has been to cater to special interests and shooting all other messengers to ensure that the bad issues that Manitoba is so constantly full of but few ever hear about because that messenger shooting machinery is so well tuned and so well supported the radio, tv and print medias it has become like a contest of shooting fish in a barrel or not hearing anyone in the forest because there are so many trees!

Some glaring things that are clear is that the NDP presided over:

The multi-hudreds of millions of dollars lost in Crocus Investment scandal of investors they did nothing to prevent.

The WCB review that avoided at all cost the financial and insurance fraud issues doctors carried on against the fund to fatten their own pockets at the health expense of WCB claimants.

The Financial support for the Human Rights Museum to cover up the decades old continuous financial rape of workers pay, benefits and pensions with employer subsidies yet of Winnipeg's pretty much shipped to lower wage countries Garment Industry.

The turning of Provincial Government Bodies like the Office of the Ombudsman, Manitoba Human Rights Commission, Peoples with Disabilities Bodies, Law Enforcement Review Agency, Mediation Services Agency and other Advocacy and Intervention Agencies into window dressing that do nothing for the various issues Manitobans represent there.

In terms of self governing societies, professions and bodies, the NDP has left them alone to protect their members by fighting off the public who file vaild complaints.

In terms of loss of rights, Manitoba and the NDP lead the pack in "Insurance Fascism" where there is only one system and its the insurance system way or it is the hit the road way in Manitoba. You will not find an insurance adjuster that works for the injured. You will not find a lawyers profession who will litigate against another profession or government insurance interest. The judges are shopped for to get specific results by government interests to make sure litigants do not get justice.

In the criminal courts legal system (there is no such thing as a justice system in Canada, that is a myth) Manitoba leads the pack in wrongful convictions, lying & cheating Crown attourneys, illegal jailings, judicially shopping, judicial conspiracy, fraud and denial of citizen's rights.


The civil court has become a bigger joke where the cost of filing suits has been made prohibative to the commone citizen and only in reach of the elites and corporations with the dollars to play there.

The NDP wants to give Manitoba more police to enforce laws but lets them be as selective as possible so there is a law for the wealthy and there are different laws for the bumpkin, the aboriginals and women. The NDP very much forgets that law and order is about the state of the economy sillys and when the haves get more of a share than the have nots where the spread has become obscene in terms of wealth between the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer the real use of all those added police come to be that of protecting those that got more of their fair share against the wants and needs of the have nots who got ripped off, the purpose becomes clear who the NDP really cares about.

Media concentration is so concentrated in the hands of a few, there are many who are suggesting we change Winnipeg's name to Asperville and that we are sounding more of a province of Israel than Canada because that is how the medias read yet that group is less than 1% of the population wagging the media tail with 99% of the population that isn't and could not give a hoot about what goes on in the dessert full of warring idiots half a world away.

If all this sounded like the writer is against the NDP and their special interests? It is just a picture of what is going on in the media, behind the scenes and on the street. If it sounds like Manitoba has or is drifting to that of a totaltarian type of provincial state, the facts, loss of freedoms and decline in the freedom of speech and expression speak for themselves.

Will any of this change with another provincial election? Probably not as the weather warms and people to escape all this crap take refuge in the cottages and away until winter comes around and drives in the reality just how crappy a place Manitoba is but then they are refreshed from summer and ready for another load of manure over the next winter. ;D

Most people here new and some recycled promises virtually every day yet it escapes most people that these politicians are makign promises with taxpayers money, in essence bribing the electorate and most of the sheep are falling for it already knowing that all taxes are now taking fully 49% of all gross incomes!

You want corruption, we have it here with an wedding and a L-Word bedding of the NDP and the Progressive Conservatives of Rodney MacDonald, the NDP says jump, Rodney says, "Do I have too through hoops lit on fire.......ok ! ? ! Well if I have too without loosing any more support I will jump through those hoops if you in the NDP will help me split Halifax and Cape Breton Island, I could not care about the Annapolis Valley, most of it is a welfare and university, military base area......not where my power base is.

You know guys, the problem in Canada ( an most countries for that matter) is the the polititions have too much power. We need to start thinking about a system where the citizens on all levels have some input on a regular basis.

Trouble is, too many citizens need the government to support them. Dependency gives the benefactor power over its dependents.

Sure, you can write your mp and tell them you don't like high taxes but we all know that never works. What we need is a system of continuous input to government by the citizens.

I am not sure how this would work and I know there are those who say any system of this kind would be too cumbersome but if the government representatives worked all year ( except for say 2 weeks off) then there could be time. Maybe we would have to pay them more but I think it would be worth it.

I am always pi$$ed at those who say " if you don't like what the elected government is doing change them next election. Problem that could be 3 years down the road and the community, province, or country could be destroyed by then.

As citizens we need to make our representatives accountable. Too many of them don't give a crap about the citizens so we need some way to make them perform or get out.

Pinoy, I would totally agree with you......but how do we make the Political Herds we call "the parties" more acountiable? I bought a Liberal Card, thinking I can work from the inside; thinking that a Fed Liberal MP that is in the NS valley here would listen to me and my concerns. I think some already know whom I refer too......that MP.

Even though I have an Party Card it gets me nowhere when this fellow's own representatives do not help me and care not to help me about an issue that happened a very long time ago when this person was an Tory MP, in the wheels of that party machine. This person switched sides for his own benefit and was picked up by our Fed Liberal Party as damaged goods and we have a habit as a party to take on stray dogs that should be put down, this "stray dog" should be done to just that way but because this MP knows some influential people he is nearly untouchiable. In activist circles he is even more untouchiable in Kings Hants, too many people support this "bad dirty penny" type of politician while he gives back nothing for the "little people" of Nova Scotia.

Truthknut, you know usually we squabble most times.....I think both of us have an abrasive nature together, but when your right you are very right, you hit the nail on the head here.

The worst of the problem is when you go to Political Party functions and see these local and higher VIP politicians hobnobbing together, especially with the worst scummy politicians that you have seen talked about by the media, even seen in scandles that were written and talked about them on the TV, by going to such places we give them power to control the masses at these conventions, it is almost impossible to take the power away from those type of benefactors.

Pinoy64, you sure got heart, my dear.......You got guts to, anyone that can stand up to the reps of Parliment in Ottawa of Beaver Town and can put this Wajid Khan look low you got my hat off about your situation. Pinoy64, there is so few Liberals that are true to their hearths....I had believed I was the only one perhaps in Nova Scotia that was not bribable or could not be bribed. WHAT MAKES ME MAD THOUGH, Pinoy, is that this Scott McNiel gets into Nova Scotia as Liberal Leader and an MLA for his riding, I talk to him and he turns out to be hobnobbing with the other more influentual Liberals and not to work on my behalf about my problem like he had promised he would, I think you may recall down here, that this Scott McNiel is now helping Halifax areas and Cape Breton VIP MLAs shine their cars from what I read in the Liberal Propaganda bulletons, it amounts to about the same thing.

You might be interested Pinoy, that Scott Brison has just reciently, like all good *** men have done, married another *** man just from last week........rise up the colors of the Rainbow while I put on my KKK mask and bed sheet, get my shotgun and go to Scott Brison's house and shoot the bugger and his lover *** guy "wife?" I am not sure how you are supposed to figure out what to call them, but I would just love to fill them both full of buckshot and hang them from the nearest telephone pole. I admire you Pinoy64.
