Coming up on the third anniversary of the big blackout. I hope the Americans have their side running allot smoother that it was three years ago.

....hey I thought it was pretty neat .. BQ 'd supper sat outside and talked , went for a walk and actually met some neighbours ...everybody was outside or walking around .. my hydro if I remember right was only off for 5 hours ... that's no biggie
... it gave people in the bigger cities like Trawana a chance to see the stars for the first time in their life ...

It was kind of nice wasn't it. Kids played outside, kids read books (if they could find any). Backyard BBQ's meant the Family got closer. Parents and kids would sit up late talking ?? Maybe this blackout was not a bad thing after all....maybe we should have more of them to bring the family closer together.
There should be a 24 or 48 hour blackout once every year.

Ya for a brief period we slipped back to a simpler time of doing things as a Family with out idiot boxes and computers. The blackout was a bad thing and a good thing and we didn't learn anything from it and it will happen again. |

I we could only continue to produce them we would have no need for endless immigration which would eliminate many of our problems. I had you pegged for a back door man! Immigrants causing problems? They must be American immigrants right? Only America can do wrong? |
