HOT APPLE CIDER RECIPE:
2 Cinnamon stick
16 cloves (whole)
1/2 gal. apple cider
1 orange (or two)
Mixing instructions:
Stud the oranges with cloves. Put the cider into a large saucepan, add the oranges and one or two cinnamon sticks. Put on low heat for several hours (you can just leave it on all day for a party). It gets better with age. Just pour in more cider when it starts getting low.
TIP You can spike this version by adding one cup of rum, brandy or cognac. I make mine in a coffee maker . the medium size metal ones . You can start it several hours before your party and the aroma filters through your house for the festive touch ..

HOT TEA TODDY
ingredients: • 1/2 tsp. honey or to taste • 1 1/2 oz. gold rum • 1 cup Hot tea Candied ginger Lemon slice or orange slice Pinch powdered cinnamon
Mixing instructions: Heat all ingredients, except ginger, in a saucepan until steaming hot and pour into a warmed cup or mug. Garnish with a large piece of candied ginger.

BEAM ME UP SCOTTY
ingredients: • 1/2 oz. coffee liqueur • 1/2 oz. crème de banane • 1/2 oz. Irish cream
Mixing instructions: Shake with ice and strain into shot glass. This shooter recipe can also be prepared as a layered shot by putting the coffee liqueur in first , followed by the creme de banane and topped off with the Irish cream.

MANSION SMOOTHIE
• 1/4 oz. Cherry Heering ( cherry liqueur ) • 1/4 oz. coffee liqueur • 1/2 oz. amaretto • 1 oz. light rum Pinch Nutmeg
Mixing instructions: Mix all ingredients, except nutmeg, with cracked ice in a shaker or blender and pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Sprinkle top with ground nutmeg.
