I just saw a CBC program on marijuana in Canada and the DEA. I was amazed to see just how much the DEA is sticking their big noses in Canada's business. The RCMP seem to have their nose a mile up the DEA's @ss. Chretien was on the verge of legalizing it and then went silent, does the American government have that much power over Canadian sovereignty ?

It is not so much a matter of
Due to the reality of the cross-border trade in drugs and illicit firearms it is to be expected that the police forces of both countries unite against a common threat.
Sadly, the majority of crime is linked to the drug trade....gang shootings, robberies etc.......

Our lovely leftards up here had notions of getting involved in American politics to curb the second amendment. www.nationalreview.com/comment/lehrer200406291205.aspDo we have any business in their affairs? It's time Canada got off it's arrogant high horse, tossed our leftards out and started taking care of our own problems. Perhaps then we will have a right to criticise others. Canada will truly be a Nation when we lose our inferiority complex and ask "Ameri-who?" We need to do some more hunting and a little less dope smoking up here. Cough, cough, it's getting hard to see reality for some. Stop watching CBC. Government owned media tends to tell only it's own side of the story.

The combination of permisive law enforcement, drug use and fire-arms restrictions is making Canada a dangerous place. Marijuana is unfortunately a gateway drug to crack----which is toxic socially----crack heads are a real menace..... Gun-free zones are just target rich, hunting grounds for homicidal maniacs.... Thanks to restrictive gun-laws Criminals in Canada have become bolder.......once unheard of home-invasions, car-jackings and drive-by's are all too frequent.......
