I guess old Cagerattler is spinning in his arm chair at the loss of his beloved Fiberals. Poor poor cagerattler no where to vent his frustrations out in. Gee I wish the old fart would join so we could have a discussion for old times sake.

Well the election will be correctly analysed by the more reflective souls. 1) The GTA stronghold has finally been breached by the Cons. The LIBRANO voting block of the GTA has been shattered. 2) Quebec is still the tail which wags the dog for the most inane reasons. I though chopping grants to the effite elite artistes was a good idea but..... But it is the BLOC which dominates Quebec rather than the LIBRANOs. This has been commented on as a factor to prevent ANY majority government for the near future.
3) The LIBRANO's (DION alone apparently) and the GREEN's biggest mistake was trying to ride a dead horse (CO2 AGW and KYOTO) to power.....both believe the obstreperous Quebecers would support their enviralarmist agenda. 4) Despite LIBRANO accusations---Harper is not perceived as a dictator but rather DION is perceived as an obtuse, domineering elitist. Cagerattler is having a bad time. Elsewhere the LIBRANOs are unable to spin this beyond blamming the election on voter ignorance----not a way to win friends and influence people....

Cagey is just not worth the nuisance. I have 1/4 plate cut into discs of varying sizes hung on a frame behind the barn.....no cans to clean up.....repaint with a spray can occassionally----they ring and move. That's okay for .22 but heavier stuff can sure maul them. Did you know that .303 full jacket makes .5' holes in 3/8 plate? I put a piece 8 x 24----out about 150m in the field. It's pretty much scrap now. Can't get through 1' though----beauty craters though.

They are truly the party not at all unlike the rest where in Ottawa they "hear no evil" "speak no evil" "see no evil" where all the pots are always calling the kettles black! Welcome to the party just like the other parties who from time to time represent the neo republik of Kannuckistan to the rest of the world where they fool no one! ;D

These are indeed interesting times for the Librano$.....
They have drawn a line in the sand over those preposterous subsidies paid to political parties----1.75 per vote/year. All told this is $30,000,000. In the overall budget this is minor but in my world $30,000,000 is a lot of money.
Their announced intention of defeating the government because of as lack of an insentive package---is not fooling anyone.
They are fooling themselves with their plan to form a coalition with the NDP/Bloc.......talk about three scorpions on a bottle......
The Bloc although depending on the subsidy for about 86% of their revenue, cannot be seen aligned with the NDP.
But it won't come to that.... Possible scenarios: 1. enough Librano$ are absent for the vote....tactic.... 2. enough Librano$ are absent for the vote....revolt.... 3. Librano$ cross the floor to the government....Harper has a majority.... 4. The Bloc votes with the government......
There is a critical mass of the Librano caucas (centerists) which will walk across rather than cooperate with the NDP. And the Librano leadership no doubt has realized this......

Well.........the LIBRANOs have succeeded in trading one obtuse, academic for another......I have dubbed him LURCH (after the Munsters).......he is one evil looking dude.......woodja buy a used car from this guy? The LIBRANOs are still broke and Taliban Jack is as disfunctional as ever...... Lizzy May seems to be recovering from her election defeat and lack of a senate seat.....CTV did a close-up and I swear, that when you looked into her eyes, you could check out the back of her head........
