Politics is a bizarre place at best to see the worst of the world's legislators. So far we have seen parliamentarians in Asia having fist fights in the aisles, a pie thrown into the face of an Alberta Premier, a PEI Premier being punched out by a constituent at his home where instead of getting a hand shake fed the Premier his fist are just some of the examples of how the public percieves politicians. The one now that takes the cake is a Iraqi newsreporter tossing his shoes with practiced aim at the President of the USA, George Bush! If Bush hadn't ducked or moved both shoes would have found their mark. That tells one that there had to have been some training done in practice for such an event by the thrower and the thrower's intended recipient!! Shades of Nikita Kruisjef taking his shoe off and wacking the podium at the UN with it, maybe his style had gone a little further with that reporter who actually tossed them instead of wacking the chair he was sitting in. Rumours is that the reporter has since been ruffed up more than a bit for his troubles though by overeager event coordinators and security! What ever, this incident has got to get into the records books of malcontents and their actions in their rights to be heard! LOL!
Just think? In Canada famers with spoiling produce due to poorly supported marketting can now set up sales booths at the doors of Canada's Parliament where the price of the item suitable for tossing around at targets in the House of Commons can be set at a high price and downward by how rotten and throwable each remains for use and the rotten raucous issue at hand! ;D
The way the economy is going and how the political parties are busy coniving farmers should make a tidy profit from their rottenist of veggies thus generating money in an economy otherwise foundering! ;D
