Congratulations to President Elect Obama

It is official. President Elect Obama has been confirmed as elected today. To me as a Naturalized Canadian being here most of my life since a toddler and with American roots from overseas, I congratulate President Elect Obama of the United States of America, and the USA itself our neighbour in his election to the most important position of his country. To me it is a transition point in the American dream from a country, one of the few on this earth where anything is possible if one puts their mind, their spirit and their resources into achieving a goal. His election is a milestone as it signals the transition of a society willing to look at itself and say in its growing maturity and willing to look at itself critically that this is a good thing what we do and did it. May their collective wisdom to embrance change bless their efforts to do so with goodness and prosperity for all.
