Recent news tells us that electronic book pad sales are on the rise choking book sales. Are we on the verge of book extinction ?

Print media seems declining.....especially newspapers and magazines. A quick evaluation of the customers in book stores indicates over 40's and students compelled to by textbooks/required reading. Eectronic book pads are just a new twist. Books on cassettes are popular with long haul drivers.... Necessity has me about hospitals and waiting rooms and the demographic with bound books is definitely over 40. The newspapers and magazines are dying because of their political bent.....those who read don't need to read some "journolist"giving OBOZO another tongue bath....or reading we are racist because we don't accept 1/2564thof our atmosphere affects climate weather......or that thermometers in Urban Heat Islands provide any indication of climate. Nobody ever learned anything from a TV set. I spend much more time online than watching TV.

I can't even remember the last time I bought a book. I have a few favorites on my shelf which I re-read from time to time. As said above most of my info comes from the internet.
