There are and have been times that a cell phone has saved lives. We don't know if this was the case here? Could the police got there in time? would he have answered her phone call? Even if he did would it have made a difference?
The problem here is the attendants didn't even try. What would have been wrong with contacting the captain and saying we have a bad situation here and the phone needs to be used? Sounds like SW airlines is in some deep dooky?
